IF you suffer from a lot of the symptoms in the chart or if you scored high on the Candida Test, then your gut is NOT healthy ... and you are probably also not very healthy.   In fact, a lot of health issues you are having might be Candida Overgrowth related.   Who knew that toenail fungus was related to your gut?  Cloudy brain?  Gut related??   Sleep problems??  Who knew??   And if your gut is not healthy, then you will probably have trouble losing weight ....

GREAT!!  What do I do now????

This is the product that I take and I have been VERY HAPPY with the results ... I take 3 capsules every night.  If you do go with this product, start with one capsule at night and work up to 3 or 4. 

WARNING .... the Die-off symptoms from killing the Candida can sometimes be as bad or worse than the symptoms of Candida itself.  Bloating, gas, diarrhea, rashes .... etc.  I personally did not experience any of this ... but many people have.

Tom's Story:  Tom is my husband and he had been taking Plexus Slim and Accelerator for 4 months with ZERO success.  I was taking the "Fab Five" as Plexus likes to call them .... Slim, Accelerator, X-Factor, BioCleanse, and ProBio5.    Tom is not a fan of lots of pills so he was drinking the Slim and taking the Accelerators in the morning and that was it.   I was having success (3lbs/month) and he was not.   When I asked other Plexus Ambassadors almost all of them suggested Candida was the problem.  Tom agreed to try the other 3 products along with me.  In December 2013 he started using ProBio5 at night .... starting with one capsule .... and almost immediately began to have sinus drainage and lung issues.  We attributed this to it being December and cold and flu season.   As it turns out ... we were wrong ... this was the beginning of Candida Die-Off.   As he upped the number of capsules, sinus drainage and coughing up mucus continued and got worse.   Still we thought it was a cold.  The mucus was white, not yellow or infected looking.  But then in January he started experiencing bloating and gas and texted me to see if I had any idea why.  I suggested it might be Candida Die-Off.  So he started running searches on Candida Die-Off and on Candida Symptoms and he realized that the sinus issues he had been having were probably also Candida Die-Off.  And the more he read the more he realized that Candida Overgrowth had been causing him issues for YEARS and he had no idea.  Athlete's foot, toenail fungus, skin rashes, gas, bloating, sinus issues, lung issues, sweets-cravings, mood issues, etc.    He willingly fought through all the Die-off symptoms .... and kept taking the Plexus Products.

I am happy to report that Tom is feeling MUCH better and is now losing weight and inches. 

Before this journey with Plexus, we had never even heard of Candida Overgrowth ... but both of us have/had it.  In hindsight, I would suggest anyone wanting to try Plexus Slim and Accelerator for weight loss should check for Candida Overgrowth first and if you have it .... TREAT IT!!!    I recommend ProBio5 and BioCleanse from Plexus ...

Not Discussed in Polite Company ....

I have been writing this post in my head for a couple of weeks .... trying to decide if I should do it.  My husband says people put too much about themselves out there ... and I know I do that already ...  this might be crossing a line??

BUT .... as my SIL told me this morning .... if it could help somebody ...  I should go for it ...

So ... let's talk CONSTIPATION!  There I said it!!

I have been constipated for .... ever.  Maybe a bowel movement once every 2 or 3 days ... or I might go a week and have to drink Milk of Magnesia. I read somewhere that humans are SUPPOSED to go 2 or 3 times a DAY!  Ha!!  I would get especially uncomfortable when traveling .... always packed MOM for any trip!!   Anal Retentive, Constipated, Full of Shit .... whatever you want to call it ... it sucks!!   But it has been this way for me FOREVER!!

Probably the worst sign of how very bad my condition is was my attempt to have a colonoscopy when I turned 50, per Dr.'s recommendation.    Met with the Dr., scheduled the procedure, got all the nasty stuff to drink, drank the nasty stuff following directions and had the whole liquid diet for a weekend .... NOTHING MOVED.  At about 3am the morning of the procedure, which was scheduled for 7:30am, I finally had a bowel movement ... but that was it.   Showed up for the procedure anyway ... filled out all the paperwork .... reported lack of "movement" during the cleanse process.  Three or 4 enemas later .... STILL not empty ... AND THEY SENT ME HOME!!  No procedure.  Apparently I truly am TOO FULL OF SHIT!!    They told me that if I wanted to have the procedure then next time I would have to drink 2 gallons of the nasty stuff and do a liquid diet for 4 days.  I have yet to go back.  =/

Fast Forward to August 2013 when I started using Plexus Products.  With my initial success on the Plexus Slim and Accelerator+ .... which is now at 16lbs lost in 5 months ... I decided to try some of their other products and purchased the Pro-Bio5 and the BioCleanse.   I'll write more about the Pro-Bio5 in another post ... this one is singing the praises of the BioCleanse!!  WooHoo!!

Note that the above graphic states "relieves constipation" twice .... it's worth saying twice!!  Maybe even three times!!    It really works for me!!  And it is/was not at all harsh.  It isn't what I would call a cleanse ... or what most people seem to think of as a cleanse.   It doesn't cause cramping and emergency runs to the bathroom.  It has simply made me REGULAR.  Sometimes twice a day regular!    It's a miracle!!  Ever since September 2013 I have been REGULAR.  Even when we drove to Florida and back over Thanksgiving and ate fast foods and big meals that week .... regular.  Amazing.

Is it doing all those other things the graphic mentions?  I hope so!!  They sound great!!  All I know is that I am REGULAR!!  And I am feeling better than I have felt in a LONG time.  I'm getting healthier from the inside out!

Do I Percieve Myself Differently??? Wrongly????

Okay .... so ... since I have been on this Plexus Journey to Health and Wealth ... I have had several dear friends look at me and say "I have never seen you as a person who needed to lose weight".    What??  Seriously??  I do have to love these people!!  But come on??  My BMI lists me as "Way More than Morbidly Obese" .... is that a rating??  My trainer's little hand-held fat detector has me at 44% body fat .... what??  Yes, I am 6' tall .... Yes, I guess I carry my weight well ... but come on!!  I'm not going to tell you how much I weigh .... but I was about 120lbs overweight according to a what a Male my height should weigh .... and 140+ pounds compared to a female ... when I started on Plexus.   Of COURSE I need to lose weight ....

Yesterday was my 5 month Anniversary of being on Plexus and I am 15lbs down .... still working the 3lbs/month weight loss ... and that is fine with me.  Yesterday I also attended a monthly meeting and had one kind woman who kept staring at me tell me I have beautiful skin .... and another kind woman tell me that I am STUNNING!  I have never been called STUNNING.     My nieces, Kate, Jess, and Andy Sexton, Brittany Pierce and Lauren Pierce, are STUNNING .... I want to look like them someday!!

I know I need to lose weight.  I don't think I have Body Dysmorphia!!   I am pretty sure I see myself as I am!!   I probably do carry it well ... it's been me for nearly 54 years now, so ... I've got to carry it?   I do have wonderful Eyes, thanks Mom, thanks Dad!!  They are pretty stunning.  But here is what I see ....

 

Now tell me I don't need to lose weight!!   I do, however, appreciate that my double chin is shrinking .... WITHOUT BOTOX!!  Who needs botox when Plexus is available!!  

I appreciate the compliments from people .... I REALLY REALLY DO!!!  Going to keep after it, though!!
