Month 8 Update ....

Well ... it's been 8.5 months since I started using Plexus Slim and Accelerator and I do believe I have hit a bit of a weight-loss plateau.  Pooh!!  Still at 24 pounds lost ... which is still 3lbs/month ... so I am good .... but I've been stuck for about 6 weeks now.  I AM, however, still losing inches!!  Liz and I just measured today and I am down 5.6 inches from 2 months ago ... mostly from waist, shoulders, and neck!!  And I am pleased with that!  About 36 inches lost overall in 8.5 months.  I know the scale needs to be tossed and I need to pay attention to the other Non-Scale achievements ... But I am hooked on weighing, as are so many over-weight people!! 

I am sad that I have not officially lost another 3 pounds this month ... although I DID see that number on the scale yesterday ... but my rule is that I need to see it TWICE for it to be official ... and I have yet to see it twice!    I AM very excited, though, about the announcement Plexus sent out yesterday of a NEW PRODUCT which is available to Ambassadors only right now.  It has been tested by several Jeweled Ambassadors and some of their downlines and EVERYONE lost weight or inches or BOTH in the 3 weeks they've been using it.  I listened in on some testimonial calls and everyone sounded very excited about this new product.  It is reported to be a "Plateau Buster" ... which has come along at exactly the right time for me!!  It does not have a name yet and they are hoping to have it available for Sale to the Public in 60 days or so.    It is said to give great energy and amazing willpower over food.  And to target Fat stores.  Here is a link to some info on one of the ingredients in this new product ... Caralluma fimbriata .    This sounds very promising!   And this is just ONE of the ingredients in the new product.  As I understand, the people who trialed this used it in place of their Accelerator+ capsules.   I'll Keep you posted!!  

So .... the above announcement is one of the reasons I had Liz take my updated measurements .... so that I would have something to compare to once I start the new product.   The OTHER reason is because a friend of mine shared a link on Facebook to a website where women can order CUSTOM made dresses and other clothing.  You can select a style of dress you like and then customize it by your own measurements (Ta-da ... the other reason) and also by sleeve length, and hemline, and neckline!!  And the prices seem very reasonable!!!  The site is called eShakti.com and I think I am going to have to try them out!!   I have a wedding to go to in October and a fancy Plexus "Winner's Dinner" in May ....

So ... a couple of days ago I decided to go shopping in my closet to see what dresses I had in there that might work for a wedding ... or a fancy dinner.   The good new is ... I found several .... and they all fit!!  The bad news is .... I'm still FAT.  Sigh.  I know I look and feel better than I did 8 months ago ... but I still have a LONG WAY to go.  85 more pounds would help.  The other bad news is that every dress I tried on has Shoulder Pads!!  Every one!!  How long ago was that??  They can be, and probably will be, cut out ... but still!!  LOL.  Oh ... and I am still going to be needing  Lycra and Spandex Support systems.   Now .... what to do about my sagging upper arms??  SO GLAD I am not in the classroom writing on the board anymore ... these babies would be a major distraction!!     I was very pleased to be able to get into these dresses ... but I realized that I still have a long way to go!!   At least Plexus makes it EASY and I don't feel like I am denying myself anything .... so I can keep on doing what I am doing ... plus try out the new product ... and hopefully have some more weight-loss to report soon!!!
